My teaching career in stagnation, I decided, in a rather drastic move to inject some fun, adventure and romance into my life, to relocate to Italy. I dunno, sounded like an *idea* and I was short of any others at them time ... So here I go - off to Rome on the 24th of March 2006 on a one-way ticket to do a TESOL course with TEFL International. Have no idea what I will find, or even if I'll enjoy the course and find work. But that's all part of it, I guess. Parlo italiano solo discretemente ora, ma spero che lo parlero' con facilita' finalmente.
